Maayan Pearl è una graphic designer ed illustratrice di origini israeliane, ma vive negli Stati Uniti da 20 anni.
Nel suo appartamento di Brooklyn ha realizzato un mix di design danese, bricolage, oggetti trovati nei mercati delle pulci, nei negozi del suo quartiere, acquistati su internet e mobili di Ikea.
Il divano è stato uno dei suoi primi acquisti, e ne è orgogliosa e gelosissima (il cuscino è di Marimekko).
Il tavolino è invece opera del suo ragazzo che ha realizzato, nello stesso stile, anche il tavolo da pranzo. La poltrona di corda è un pezzo di Hans Wegner acquistata in un negozio di modernariato di Brooklyn, mentre le sedie intorno al tavolo sono le Eiffel di Charles Eames e Tulip di Saarinen; le librerie nel soggiorno e nell'ingresso così come il letto e la cassettiera nella sua camera sono di Ikea.
I comodini li ha invece acquistati su Etsy.
Altri oggetti, come la mano scultura posizionata sulla mensola del camino, su Ebay.
La semplice boiserie e le pareti bianche in tutta la casa creano uno sfondo omogeneo senza togliere leggerezza.
Completano e personalizzano ulteriormente l'arredo quadri dipinti da lei stessa (nel soggiorno il ritratto di un'amica, nell'ingresso quello di sua madre), o da artisti amici come quello sul camino di Catherine Pearson.

The houses decorated with objects chosen here and there, from different backgrounds and assembled with personal taste are my favorites.

In his apartment in Brooklyn has created a mix of Danish design, DIY, objects found in flea markets, or in the shops of her neighborhood or in purchased on the internet and Ikea furniture.
The sofa was one of his first purchases, and is proud and very jealous of this (the pillow is by Marimekko).
The coffe table is a DIY of her boyfriend who has realized, in the same style, even the dining table. The chair of the rope is a piece of Hans Wegner purchased in a store of Brooklyn, while
the chairs around the table are the Eiffel Charles Eames and Saarinen Tulip; the libraries in the living room and in the entrance as well as the bed and the dresser in his room are of Ikea. She bought the bedside tables on Etsy. Other items, such as hand sculpture, placed on the mantelpiece, on Ebay.
The boiserie throughout the house creates a homogeneous background without doing it heavy.
She completes and customizes all with her paintings (in the living room the portrait of a friend, in the entrance of her mother), or by her artist friends like that on the fireplace of Catherine Pearson.
