Una cantina in pietra lavica dove veniva conservato il vino realizzata.
Dal recupero di questi tre fabbricati con l'aggiunta di un bianco volume puro, con ampie pareti trasparenti in cui sentirsi completamente immersi nel circostante agrumeto, nasce, su progetto dell'architetto Antonio Iraci il boutique hotel Zash a Riposto (Catania).
Gli elementi che lo caratterizzano sono neutri, "silenziosi", proprio per esaltare al massimo il contesto in cui è inserito e le preesistenze architettoniche: doghe di legno di rovere o resina bianca per i pavimenti, pietra lavica per i rivestimenti, pezzi di design contemporaneo per luci ed arredo.
Tutto è studiato per godere al massimo del paesaggio e della storia del luogo.
